The story so far…
JS Davidson prides itself on its service to customers and it is thanks to their loyalty and our many excellent working relationships that we are fortunate enough to be able to give back to some of the most deserving in our community.
For the past three years we have been working with Little Miracles – a children’s charity which helps make a difference to thousands of families in England every year. Founded in 2010 Little Miracles specialises in the care of babies, children and young adults up to the age of 25 with additional needs, disabilities or life-limiting conditions, and their families.
The charity offers activities, training, counselling, advice and safe spaces for the families. When Covid19 forced the indefinite grounding of UK flights we worked alongside Little Miracles to ensure frozen meals for the flights, many of which were destined for First Class passengers and would otherwise would have gone to waste, were distributed to struggling families identified by the charity.
At Christmas Little Miracles set its sights on delivering 3,000 children’s presents and so we donated many of the gifts, focusing on older teenagers – particularly boys – often the hardest to find presents for. And when the charity’s wooden furniture rotted after sitting outside throughout Covid and beyond they approached us for help. We donated some benches which arrived just two days later, in time for a visit from Liz Truss who visited Little Miracles as part of her Conservative Leadership campaign trail.
Our work with Little Miracles goes on as the charity continues its work over a vast area – from Peterborough to Cromer and from Boston to Milton Keynes. Louise Evans, Head of Income Generation at Little Miracles, said: “We are incredibly grateful to John and JS Davidson for their support over the years. They have literally changed the lives of tens of thousands of families and their continued support means that they will continue to help us be there to make a difference when it is most needed.”
